Children's Ministry

Camp BLAST is July 19 - 23, 2010

at Michindoh Ministries

Come Join The Fun!!!

Camp BLAST is the Central District’s summer camp for kids (who have completed grades 3 to 6). There is no shortage of fun and ample time to show the kids the relationship Christ desires to have with them. The kids participate in waterfront activities, sports, hiking, organized games, and chapel.

Being at camp puts a child in an environment where they interact with solid Christian adults whose desire is to show Christ and serve others. By God’s grace, after a few days, we see children understanding the love of Jesus and opening up to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We are blessed with very gifted leaders who guide the kids in worship and chapel times.

BLAST STAFF...

We are currently taking applications for counselors and assistant counselors for camp this year, July 19-23, 2010.  Due to the rising cost of ministry, we find it necessary to charge a $50 registration fee.  This amount will help to cover some of the counselor cost for meals and lodging at Michindoh Ministries.  Some District churches may be able to help cover this cost.  Please check with your Pastor of Children's Director.

Kids' Quizzing

Patterned after our youth Bible quizzing program, kids in grades K-6 are given the opportunity to learn God’s Word and to develop Christian character. The very nature of quizzing teaches discipline, leadership and perseverance while allowing kids the opportunity to enjoy competition, friendships, and accountability.  Coaches come alongside students to develop Biblical knowledge and understanding, a positive competitive spirit and good sportsmanship.
